Why cheaper panels don’t always make “cents”.

We have been experiencing overcast and rainy weather here in Canberra which is not ideal for solar energy production.

Here is a very clear example of why high quality panel can payback quicker.

This SunStak customer is located in South Canberra they have a SunStak Large energy system (10kW) using the amazingly efficient top of the line REC Solar Australia Alpha 370w panels.

Even on a horrible day like today (refer to weather app screenshot) their SunStak system can still produce a decent amount of usable energy (14kWh) enough to charge their Tesla Powerwall. On a clear day their system produces over 65kWh!

More affordable panels doesn’t always mean value.
